This is the only go to in town since I've been here. After many visits, I've never had a bad or disappointing experience which is saying alot these days! I first went here with family at least 6 or 7 yrs ago & the hibachi was great! Now living here, this is my fave place in town & the sushi is SO good! The fried sushi rolls are a must! Its always a party in your mouth! Good job akina!

A deceptively wonderful meal. Even though the outside of the building isn't glamorous, all the emphasis is on the food. The meal was flavourful and generous. It appears to be a family operated restaurant and exceeded our expectations. Can't wait to visit again.

My husband and I have lived in Lancaster for about a year and a half now but had not yet thought to try Akina. We love sushi so when we’ve craved it, we usually go for a date night up to Ballantyne/Charlotte to get our fix. But after trying Akina those days will definitely not come as often! HIGHLY recommend you give this little hole in the wall a chance! It’s clearly family owned but isn’t that what’s so great about “small” towns? Sushi was good and it’s the next day and we feel great. We WILL be back!

There was a hair in my box. It was touching the food, so I removed it. Chicken was dry. Luckily, I ordered extra shrimp sauce, which was really good. I thought the portion was small for the price.

One of the best restaurants in Lancaster. Unfortunately it took me 10 years of living here to find it, it’s kinda hidden. Sushi is amazing. Some of the best general tsos I’ve ever had and they have amazing miso. Perfect for when you’re not feeling well or just craving it.

My husband and I really wanted sushi and heard this was the place, 2 years in this town and we'd never been here. 45 minutes before they closed and boy was it AMAZING! The California roll and shrimp tempura roll were delicious, our server was very nice. We both got the sesame chicken and it was delicious as well. We will definitely be going back. For the price it's definitely worth what you get!
